Configuring Sleek Show Module

Thanks for your interest in sleekshow, this tutorial will guide you on setting up the module for the first time.

Note that some aspects of this document may be different depending on the version of Joomla being used. This doc is focused on Joomla version 1.6- 1.7.

 

Once you are logged into your administrator, go to the Module Manager located in Extensions->Module Manager.

 

Once you are at the Module Manager, choose New which will open a page/pop-up, select Sleekshow.

Next you will be taken to the Sleekshow Admin page where you cange multiple parameters for each individual module.

The page will look like this.

On the left of the screen is the typical module options about the pages to show module, title, position etc. However on the right are the paramaters available for designing your sleek banner. Each option are as follows

 

Small thumb  - Shows the small thin version displayed to public

Banner Displayed  -  Shows the larger banner when a user hovers/click Small Thumb

- Link - Is the destination url for the clicked banner

- Effect - Is the effect that would be showed when banner is triggered. Options are Slide in and Fade in

- Leave Effect is the oposite effect that happens when the user is exiting the banner

- Trigger is the option to determine what will make the banner open, whether when a user clicks on a banner or a user hovers.

- Load Jquery File - Gives the option to include/exclude Jquery in your website

- New window lets you determine whether you want the clicked url to open in a new Tab/Window or the Same window.


Now let's focus on a Small Thumb, you can choose the Select button that will open up a page like the one below (Joomla 1.6- 2.5)

Once, that's inserted and done. You can repeat the same method for the Banner to be displayed. Then you can fill in all the other parameters, positions and pages to be finished. Save your module and enjoy.
